Vacancy: Cafe/Retail Assistant
Location: South Wight
Hours:40 hours per week
Days: Monday - Sunday on a rota basis
Industry: Retail/ Catering
Salary: £6.25 per hour worked.
Duties: counter service, cash handling, stock control, serving drinks and some food preparation. Relief shift supervisor cover. Adherence to hygiene standards.
Experience: Must have excellent customer services skills and previous cafe/front of house experience. Previous supervisory experience an advantage. Valid hygiene certificate required.
Vacancy Kitchen Assistant
Location: South Wight
Hours:9am - 3pm
Days: 5 days from 7, to include Saturday and Sunday
Industry: Retail/Catering
Salary: £6.00 per hour worked
Duties: assisting head chef in food preparation and through service, catering with fresh produce on a healthy menu, adherence to hygiene standards.
Experience: Previous catering experience is required as is a valid hygiene certificate.

Hours: 9am - 5.30pm

Duties: supporting two departments, audio typing reports and correspondence, telephonist duties, maintaining filing and computer systems, diary management, booking appointments and organising meetings.
Experience: previous secretarial experience required as is a good level of computer literacy. Driving licence preferred but not essential.
Vacancy: Communications Coordinator
Location: Newport (may be required to travel across Island)
Hours: 15 - 20 hours per week ( between 9am and 5pm, however post holder will be required to attend meetings outside of these hours)
Days: Flexible (Monday - Friday, may be required to attend events at the weekend)

Salary: dependent upon experience (plus mileage at standard rate).
Duties: to include liaison with Chairperson, Board of Trustees, Subcommittees, Trading Company staff and volunteers. Organising and attending meetings, diary management. Responsible for one member of staff, delegating tasks including correspondence, preparation of agendas, typing of minutes and distribution of reports. Administering Charity Commission documentation. Generating and developing fundraising ideas, encouraging involvement of community groups and developing relationships with the business community, organising events when required.
Experience: Must have excellent communication and organisational skills, good computer literacy and be proactive and motivated. Previous experience of charity fundraising is an advantage, as is knowledge of the medical sector. Own transport recommended. Post subject to CRB disclosure.
