Location: Newport, Isle of Wight
Hours: 37 hours per week, 7.30am - 5.45pm
Days: Monday - Sunday on a rota basis
Duration: temporary on an ongoing basis
Working within a team in high volume food preparation within an industrial kitchen. Catering for breakfasts, lunches and dinners on a nutritionally balanced menu. Operation of industrial catering equipment and machinery. Working to specifications, timescales, hygiene and health and safety standards. Manual handling.
Must have previous catering experience, preferably within an industrial catering environment, a minimum of NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) Catering qualifications and valid hygiene/food safety certificate.
Must be physically fit due to the nature of tasks required and be able to work well as part of a team, as well as on own initiative and to instruction, within a busy kitchen environment.
DBS clearance within the last 2.5 years is preferred. Security clearance will be required.
Salary: £11.03 per hour worked
