Duties:

Provide a high quality tenancy service by providing advice and support to manage tenancies including arrears advice, successions, mutual exchange, joint to sole / sole to joint applications & all related issues. Undertake home visits to minimise risk to residents, property and to the business.
Deal quickly and decisively with all forms of tenancy breaches, working with residents to address the matter, agreeing action plans and where required taking legal action to enforce the tenancy. Signpost to agencies well placed to provide the support which may enable resident to sustain their tenancy.
Proactively highlighting and investigating cases of tenancy fraud, to ensure properties are being occupied by the residents.
Effective management of all nuisance, harassment, domestic abuse, hate crime or other cases were required. Liaise with legal advisors as required ensuring speedy resolution of issues using appropriate remedies.
Work with residents and communities to develop solutions to tenancy and estate matters which builds residents and communities resilience and independence, enabling the residents manage their home.
Work with property services to manage estates to high standard, Undertake neighbourhood walkabouts in accordance with our service standards. Produce action plans as required to improve ratings where needed.
Assist in the collection of rent arrears & letting homes as required in liaison with the income & lettings team.

Experience:

Must have previous experience of tenancy and estate management including managing anti social behaviours, tenancy breaches and improvement works.

Must have experience of supporting vulnerable residents and safeguarding.

Must have a good understanding of housing law.

Must be customer focused and self motivated, with good problem solving skills.

Must be able to manage and prioritise own caseload and projects.

Must have full drivers licence and access to own transport (mileage paid).

The successful candidate will be required to undergo a DBS check.

 

Salary: £28 - 31,000 per annum plus benefits
