Providing technical support to clients either on-site or over the telephone. Setting up and installing new equipment, configuring Windows and installing various software and anti-virus packages. Perform hardware and software troubleshooting and maintenance on PCs, laptops, servers, Macs and networking equipment. Using monitoring systems undertake daily health checks on clients’ systems.
Previous IT support experience including both software and hardware, applications, networks and operating systems. Proficient with Windows 7 onwards and Microsoft Office products. Understanding of core computer network fundamentals.Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Exchange, Office 365, and Hyper-V environments is desirable, but not essential.
An IT related academic qualification, ideally BTEC IT Level 3 or equivalent OR equivalent experience.
Excellent communication and customer service skills. Must have good attention to detail, accuracy and problem solving skills. Must be calm and professional and be able to work to deadlines. Must be able to work well as part of a team and on own initiative.
Salary: £17,000 - £20,000 p.a.
