Hours: approx. 30 hours per week ( from 3pm Friday - 7.30pm Sunday)

To promote and sell fresh produce and derivative products at weekly farmers markets.
Collection of vehicle and stock, driving up to 3.5t, adherence to routes and schedules.
Multi drop deliveries, liaison with other traders and market organisers.
Unloading vehicle, set up and manage market stall, manual handling.
Merchandising and stock replenishment, customer services and product advice.
Cash handling and reconciliation.
Dismantling stall and leftover stock and loading vehicle.
Vehicle checks, basic maintenance, reporting necessary repairs.
Adherence to health & safety and hygiene standards.
Must have excellent customer service and communication skills. Must be passionate about food and have good attention to detail. Sales experience is preferred.
Must have good initiative and be able to work proactively.
Must be physically fit to to the nature of duties.
Must have a full driver’s licence and be confident in driving around central London, previous commercial driving experience is preferred. Must be over 25 due to insurance requirements.
Must be flexible with working hours and willing to travel.
This role will be travelling to London on Fridays, collecting vehicle at approx. 3pm, staying overnight in hotel accommodation Friday and Saturday nights (at “responsible” leisure), delivery driving on Saturday and Sunday mornings and trading for 4-5 hours both days, returning to the Island on Sunday evening at approx. 7.30pm.
Salary: £9.50 per hour plus accommodation, travel and sustenance.
