Duration: Temporary for approximate 3 months
Visiting service users.
Reviewing care packages.
Caring our risk assessments.
Recommending equipment, adjustments and amendments to care plans to enable improved independence.
Production of reports ad updating records.
Must have previous experience with the elderly and HCPC Occupational Therapist registration.
Experienced Occupational Therapist Assistants may be considered if experienced in re-enablement or rehabilitation of the elderly.
Must have a person centred approach and be able to work in partnership to ensure the best outcomes for the people served.
Mainland candidates may be considered for this role, however there will need to be three days spent on the Island with potentially 2 days working from home, writing reports.
Must have own transport (mileage paid for Island travel) and be prepared to undergo a DBS clearance ( unless already registered with the update service)
Salary: £20.30 per hour ( may be flexible dependent upon experience)
