Location: Central Wight
Hours: contracted for a minimum of 24 hours, up to 40 hours during peak season
Days: Monday - Sunday on a rota basis
Supporting and providing relief cover for Head Chef.
Catering on a traditional pub menu for up to 90 covers during peak.
Preparation and cooking of food as directed, following recipes and presentation specifications.
Stock control and rotation, may on occasion be required to order or purchase ingredients.
Adherence to hygiene standards, cleaning, temperature and date checks, production of reports.
Operation and maintenance of equipment, adherence to health and safety standards.
Must have previous catering experience to a minimum of Second Chef level and a valid hygiene/ food safety certificate. Further catering qualifications are an advantage as is staff management experience.
Must be flexible with working hours, kitchen hours 8am – 9.30pm, hours may include straight or split shifts (8am-3pm/5pm-9pm).
Own transport is recommended.
Salary: £10.50 per hour worked
