Location: Isle of Wight
Hours: 40 hours per week (8am - 4pm) plus out of hours call out on a rota basis
Days: Monday - Friday plus out of hours call out on a rota basis
Duration: Permanent
Duties:
All forms of responsive carpentry repairs within residential properties to include:
1st fix and 2nd fix carpentry
Install windows, doors, door frames – Internal and external.
UPVC servicing and installation
Locksmithing and gaining entry via lock snapping, drilling and picking.
All types of fencing, posts, feather edge, chain link and panels.
Kitchen fitting, kitchen building and minor joinery.
Basic plumbing, plastering, tiling, decorating and other general maintenance tasks.
Experience:
You should have experience within a similar role, ideally from within a Residential/Housing sector and must be qualified to a minimum of NVQ level 2 OR have a minimum of 5 years proven track record working in carpentry.
Have a strong health and safety mindset with knowledge of health & safety best practices and enjoy working as part of a team.
Due to the requirement to travel, you must hold a full and current driving licence with a minimum of 1 years experience and have the ability to drive and take home a company van.
This role is subject to a satisfactory license check, essential qualifications check and a basic DBS disclosure.
Salary: £32,880 - 38,0000 per annum, plus call out premium, £335 tool allowance, van and fuel card.
