Industry: Property Maintenance
Location: Ryde, Isle of Wight
Hours: 40 hours per week (8am - 4.30pm), plus call out on a rota basis
Days: Monday - Friday, plus call out on a rota basis
Working as part of an in-house maintenance team, undertaking planned and responsive electrical maintenance for around 4000 properties across the Island.
Carrying out routine servicing, inspection and testing. Maintaining property records and certifications.
Investigating, fault finding, diagnosing and completing responsive repairs.
Escalation of complex defects and recommendations to line manager.
Estimates and requisition of necessary materials.
Liaison with customers and other trades staff.
Adherence to health & safety, building regulations and quality standards.
Must have NVQ Level 2 qualifications (or equivalent), 18th Edition and C&G 2391 Test & Inspect.
Must have electrical experience, preferably within a residential environment and a good understanding or health & safety.
Must have a full driver’s licence and 2 years driving experience (due to insurance purposes).
Must be able to work well on own initiative as well as part of a team and have good customer service and communication skills.
Salary: £30 - 33,000 per annum plus Van, fuel card, tool allowance, uniform, iPad, iPhone and company pension
