Industry: Civil Engineering
Location: Isle of Wight
Hours: 40 hours per week, 7.30am - 4.30pm
Days: Monday - Friday
Duration: ongoing temporary (potentially permanent for the right candidate)
Duties:
Groundwork and civil engineering duties including: drainage, concreting, kerbing/bricklaying and tarmacking.
Operation of machinery and hand tools.
Manual handling and driving.
Adherence to technical specifications, quality and health and safety standards.
Experience:
Must have good level of previous groundwork experience, (civil engineering preferred) and a full driver’s licence, (7.5 tonne (C1)driving licence preferred).
Must be reliable and physically fit, due to the nature of the duties and work well to instruction and as part of a team.
Higher pay rates may be available to candidates who hold NRSWA, EXCAVATOR, DUMPER tickets.
Salary: £11.57 - £12.48 (dependent upon experience/certifications) per hour worked PAYE, overtime paid at 1.5
